Continuity mistake: During the Venice scenes, Ethan's hair length is always the same, except for scene number 1 where he and the team are on a boat arriving in Venice, and scene number 3 where he and Ilsa are on a balcony. In both these scenes, his hair is very short.
Continuity mistake: Hatchet marks are already visible on the door when Vic Nottingham arrives to chop through it.
Continuity mistake: The Saturn that Mikaela is driving has a moonroof that encompasses most of the roof, over the front and back seats. When the Decepticon Grindor captures them, in the interior shot looking up at Leo as Grindor seizes the Saturn, the car has a solid roof over Leo, which is also seen in the interior shot as they fall. Trivia: Gary Cole and Tim Matheson both worked together on The West Wing, both playing Vice Presidents to Josiah Bartlett. The show nods to their West Wing tenure in an elevator scene where Gary Cole stares at Tim Matheson and asks if he knows him from somewhere.
Continuity mistake: When Lucius is putting aftershave on in front of the mirror, he hears the robot outside and runs to the window, leaving the bottle of aftershave on the desk with the lid off. He returns to open the drawer, and the lid is back on. (01:29:00)

Other mistake: Towards the end, Chewbacca and Beckett have walked some distance from the landed yacht. They come up a small slope and are faced with Han, waiting for them. But an aerial shot shows that slope is very short and just runs down to a cliff. There's no way they could have got to the base of the slope to walk up it in the first place.
Trivia: In the scene where Anna is outside the gates during "For The First Time in Forever", you can see the backs of Flynn and Rapunzel from "Tangled".
Question: During the end credits it says "Dedicated to Ryan Mone." Who was he and what happened to this man?
Factual error: In the final fight scene with Malekith, Thor falls through a portal that brings him to Charing Cross station, where the lady on the train tells him he has to ride 3 stops to get to Greenwich. Charing Cross is not on the Jubilee Line and so not directly connected to Greenwich - even then it's a lot more than 3 stops. (01:33:45)

Answer: Ryan Mone was a young hockey player from Martha's Vineyard, who died in a car accident at the age of just seventeen. The Farrelly brothers are long-term friends of the Mone family and chose to dedicate their film to Ryan as their tribute to his memory.
