Other mistake: At the end of the song "Wait," when Sweeney and Lovett hear Anthony running up the stairs, Sweeney runs behind the door to his shop. For a quarter second, as Sweeney places his back against the wall, there is a modern-day water bottle on the window ledge. Revealing mistake: When Elly is "skating" on the black oil while fighting the bad guys, we can see that it is Bryce Dallas Howard's stunt double in a few shots where it briefly shows her face.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Chicken Little lends the alien baby, Kirby, his handkerchief, after Kirby blows his nose, it sticks to Chicken Little's hand. Chicken Little then wipes the hanky off his hand on to the grass. In the very next shot, the hanky has disappeared, and never shows up again.

Trivia: The P-51 Mustang that "Maverick" Mitchell flies in this film is actually Tom Cruise's own airplane.

Continuity mistake: After Rey touches Luke's lightsaber she begins to have the vision, and when she falls to the floor the blaster is missing from the back of her belt, but after she "sees" Luke and R2 and then stands up the blaster is back again, tucked into her belt (even though Rey's having her vision of things all around her, she herself is not a vision).

Continuity mistake: When the house first becomes detaches from its foundation and becomes airborne, Russell is nowhere to be seen, although every angle of the house is shown, including underneath, the front porch and the back porch. He knocks on the door and tells Carl he chased a "snipe" under the porch - but he cannot be seen after liftoff and prior to knocking. The same thing happens near the end, when Dug claims to have hidden under the porch.
